Low voltage and medium voltage capacitor banks

  • Normal Voltage 440 Volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz / 60 Hz
  • Protection class: IP 4X / 5X
  • Cooling: Self-convection (take care of sufficient convection)
  • Reactor: As per customer’s requirement (No reactor / 0.2 % / 7 % or 14 %)
  • Switching: Contactor switched OR Thyristor switch (TSM)
  • Using our TSM modules, we can give APFC panel with 1 kVAr Resolution for Dynamic Fast Fluctuating Load

LV SVG + APFC (Hybrid)

IGBT-based hybrid APFC (SVG + APFC) is an advanced solution for reactive power compensation for the better benefit of the consumer for their critical requirements like extreme fast varying load patter. A step-less, instantaneous and precise correction of both capacitive and inductive load. Compact in size. Harmonic compensation, load balancing, and neutral compensation.

Thyristor Modules

Description

Highspeed Thyristor switching module is for high-speed reactive power compensation in low voltage grids for 415 volts to 440 Volts, 50 Hz using single or multiple components for switching steps up to 100 kVAr capacitor step switching.

  • High-speed switching at “ZERO” differential voltage
  • Suitable for capacitor switching with or without de-tuned reactor
  • Self-cooling modules, also force cooling is available on-demand, if force cooling, an additional power supply of 230 Volts is required
  • Monitoring of supply voltage, input trigger and thermal fault
  • No external power is required for TSM.
  • Optional annunciation extension unit using potential-free contacts 30 V DC, 1 A, or 230 V AC, 1 A.

Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) relay

Description

APFC controllers are available with 1 CT or 3 CT measurements of load current. The Correction time and Discharge time are user-programmable. A back-lit LCD display makes it convenient to view the information at all times including normal operation as also during programming. Step ON, OFF, discharging or faulty conditions are displayed on the LCD
